Jake Durham's Wits' End
Jake Durham has made a some great videos. After release a promo last winter, Jake finally announced that on September 1st he would premiere his new video Wits’ End at Boom Island Park in Minneapolis. Due to rain, Jake had to move the premiere from the park to the shelter of a nearby bridge, and we are very sad to have missed it.
When asked about the motivation behind this new project, Jake had this to say about his original intentions: “This video was a way to cope with the summer of 2020. I was also kind of annoyed with skate videos being so hard to digest. I was thinking ‘Okay, I’m going to make a video with a beginning, parts, and credits. I am going to have titles. And you are going to get a black space between parts.’ Spoon feed that shit.” Perhaps the tedium of the pandemic induced a suddend surge of creativity, because according to Jake, that original plan was altered by the time the video saw the light of day. Regarding this, Jake said, “But I’m a weirdo and want to make something more weird now.”
Jake was kind enough to allow us the opportunity to premiere Kirian Stone’s part online.
