Lurker Lou and the Purple Shoe

Lurker Lou has been skating the same color and model of shoe for quite a while now. As he showed us in this tour of his house and the amazing stuff in it, it’s not just because they’re great to skate in.

We dropped by while Lou poured some cement shoes in his studio and he gave us the origin story of the footwear-focused work in his upcoming art show, which is happening this Saturday(!) in Brooklyn.
