A Hiawatha Halloween

This is probably the best gif I've ever made. Thanks Vinnie.

The shredders at The Hiawatha began an expansion of their legendary skate facility earlier this year and decided Halloween was an appropriate time to celebrate this fact and raise some funds in the process (new bowls aren't free). Here's a look at the mayhem:

Minneapolis' skate community came on en force, as did crews from outside the metro area: Omaha, NE (Donuthill Crew).  Madison, WI (Dust Bowl Crew),  and crews from Sioux City, IA,  Duluth, MN and St. Cloud, MN made the trip out.

Jay, Mark and the boys have been working away for months now on The Hiawatha's update, and at this point it's about 45% complete. Mark's intricate vision can't be rushed. Also, they're in need of more supplies, so if you're in possession of some extra lumber please let the guys know on Facebook and you can help make the new addition a reality.

Big thanks to Kyle Plathe for the report.
