Village Archive

COVID has given many of us the opportunity to pursue side projects, so…here’s ours! Today we’re announcing the launch of Village Archive, an online archive of skate shoes. Now you have one place to go when looking for skate shoe images for skate trivia prep, design inspiration, or general research.

We’re starting with the entire collection of shoes amassed by the staff of the (sadly) now-defunct Skately. Although we’ll be adding shoes ourselves, we’re most excited about opening up submissions to you, our readers. You can submit shoe images and descriptions right from the site (or right here), which will help us build the Wikipedia (or something) of skate shoes.
