2021 Phone Dump

Well, here it is: our third year-end Phone Dump video, two years since Phone Dump # 2.

The idea was for these to be annual, but alas, as 2020 came to a close our spirits felt pretty drained. It is funny looking back, the first clip in the video, Chris Keiley’s noseslide at Borough Hall, was filmed in January of 2020 with the intent of it being the first clip in the 2020 installment.

It was easy at that time to think “This next phone video is going to rule!”, having no idea how much of the following 12 months would be spent skating alone, in small pods, or that Zoom would become a painfully regular part of life. Every cloud has a silver lining, and it turns out putting it off for a year just extended our filming deadline to stack that much more 😈.

So with that said, we are very excited to share the latest installment of our Phone Dump series, two years in the making. It’s a compilation filmed by us and all of our friends between January 1st 2020 - December 31st 2021. Thanks for the amazing year skaters, contributors, filmers and readers.
